+== Statistics of limit root bundles and towards F-Theory MSSMs ==
+String theory is a leading candidate for a theory of quantum gravity, i.e. a theory which explains all natural phenomena in a unified framework. The major short-coming of string theory is that is has many (infinitely many?) solutions and to this date it is not known if one of them describes the universe that we observe on a daily basis. Finding (or disproving the existience of) such a solution, is often considered a holy grail of string phenomenology.
 +
+In this talk, I will explain how this quest leads to an interesting class of one Quadrillion toric geometries (the so-called Quadrillion F-theory Standard models or QSMs), the study of root bundles on algebraic curves and how modern computer implementations can help to provide answers towards this holy grail of string phenomenology.
