The 3rd polymake workshop will take place on March 22 and March 23, 2012 at TU Darmstadt. The developer meeting is scheduled for March 21.

There is no registration fee for the workshop. We will provide lunch on Thursday and Friday. On Thursday evening we plan to go to dinner together (here you have to pay yourself). Please indicate during registration whether you will join us.

Please register with your name, affiliation and the days you will attend until February 29 by completing the registration form.
(this link also leads to a list of already registered participants)

We welcome proposals for topics that you want to learn about during the workshop. You can tell us either during registration or anytime later via email.
Here are some suggestions:

  • using the callable library [CAL]
  • how to write extensions [EXT]
  • using perl in the polymake shell [BEG]
  • programming background: perl or c++ [PRL, PTL]
  • mathematical background (semantics) [SEM]
  • visualization [VIS]

The official polymake version for the workshop is Release 2.12. It is available on the Downloads page. If you need any help with the installation, you are welcome to join the installation support session on Thursday, right before the workshop.

This is just a proposal. Time and sessions will be adapted during the workshop according to the wishes of the participants.
